Guide 3 of 6
Running a live session
Start a session, share the join code, and guide participants step by step.
From your sessions list, click New session, pick a program, and choose to start immediately or schedule it for a future date — either way you get a join code and link right away, so you can drop it into a calendar invite ahead of time.
The host console
Opening a session takes you to the host console, where you control the pace for everyone. You’ll see:
- Lobby — a roster of who’s joined, before you start.
- Step controls — Next, Previous, and Reveal, plus a look-ahead panel showing you the upcoming step before it goes live to anyone else.
- Live results — as participants respond to a poll or scenario, you see the count update in real time, with full identity visibility regardless of that step’s public/private setting.
Everyone’s device — participants and host alike — stays in lock-step with whatever step you’re on. There’s no screen to project; each person follows along on their own device.
When you’re done, click End session. If your plan includes AI-powered reports, each participant gets a personalized end-of-session report — see AI reports & coaching.
